BrainZell presenting scientific work at ELRIG Drug Discovery
BrainZell will present its scientific work at ELRIG Drug Discovery 2026 in London. Our CEO Petra Szeszula and Head of Business Development Matija Rojnik will be presenting the poster:
Patient-derived brain organoid platform for early drug discovery in Alzheimer’s disease
Patient-derived organoids offer a promising approach to improve the translatability of early drug discovery research into clinical trials. We present the development of a high-throughput induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) derived brain organoid platform for early drug discovery in CNS, with a case study in Alzheimer’s disease.
Our patient-derived brain organoid platform captured clinically relevant Alzheimer’s phenotypes and identified molecules that rescue them with the potential to drastically reduce both time to patient and need for animal testing.
Neuroinflammation assays
At ELRIG you can also talk to us about our neuroinflammation assays, which we developed using microglia from our partner bit.bio.
